One of the best books for Adult Children of Alcoholics. Written by lady who knows the problem inside out and made her way towards healing during several years. Very personal and warm style, very practical, no empty topics, each page is worth attention.

This book helped me a lot in my own journey towards recovery. I was a similar "hero" in my family and continued to play that role instinctively/uncounsciously later in adult life. Many similiarities in life, familiar situations and choices/patterns, I'm thankful to Nancy for sharing her story to help all heroes coming from disfunctional families.
